Updates to our shipping prices (Per December 31, 2022)

In this article, I want to tell you something about our new shipping prices, starting in the new year. I want to be as transparent as possible as to why we've decided to change these costs.
As per usual, our shipping partner PostNL has updated its prices for the new year. This will have mostly positive effects, due to the addition of tracked parcels that fit in a standard letterbox. All of these effects are only applicable to orders outside of the Netherlands.
General changes can be found here. For more specific changes to your region, check the 'Info per region' section below.
- Shipping with Track & Trace will be more common. Most lightweight items that we sent without T&T as standard in 2022 will be sent with T&T in 2023.
- Shipping on lightweight items will be more expensive in general, as some shipping profiles at PostNL (up to 100 grams) have been combined to one. Most of these items will however be sent with T&T as standard, which will be cheaper than the T&T option in 2022, as PostNL have added the option to send items up to 100 grams with T&T as well. This only existed for items up to 250 grams in 2022.
- Shipping for heavier items will be cheaper than in 2022, thanks to a new addition that allows tracked parcels that fit through a standard letterbox.
- Due to an international law accepted in 2021, we can only still use a cheaper, non tracked option on lightweight items exclusively made of paper. This only applies to our regular bookmarks, stickers and prints. Other lightweight items such as magnetic bookmarks or keychains are not exclusively made of paper, which means we can't send them using stamps.
- UPS Options will remain available for faster shipping. Check the info below.

Netherlands
There are no changes to our shipping prices within the Netherlands. Free shipping within the Netherlands will remain available on all our orders. Track and Trace will remain optional for our lightweight orders, for €3,00 per order.
